Procter & Gamble’s Chief Brand Officer, Marc Pritchard spoke at Cannes Lions today at a CNN event for their nominated film “The Words Matter.” In addition to discussing how diversity and inclusion only works when it aligns with the business interests, he shared his own story on coming out as Mexican. He also shared the positive response P&G received when they included the pride flag in an ad for Head & Shoulders for the first time.

Pritchard was joined on stage by U.S. Olympian Gus Kenworthy & P&G “Love Over Bias” Ambassador, Brent Miller, P&G Global LGBT+ Diversity & Inclusion and was moderated by CNNi’s Nima Elbagir. Here’s a video of Marc at the panel.
