Kids are pumped for Season 3 of Netflix’s ‘Dawn of the Croods’

Kids can’t get enough of ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’, which held steady in April as the leading children’s show on Netflix. Still, the Netflix original ‘Dawn of the Croods’ saw viewership increase sevenfold month over month.

Below, additional insights via Jumpshot:

  • A New Dawn: 5 new titles appeared on the top 10 list of kids shows in April led by the new season of Dawn of the Croods.  Season 3 debuted on Netflix on April 7 which saw viewership of the series increase by 7x month over month.  While it drove an 11% share in April, Dawn of the Croods failed to take the top spot from an old favorite.
  • The Force is Still Strong:  Though the title has been part of the Netflix catalog for a couple of years, Star Wars: The Clone Wars took the top spot as the most watched kids show in April.  Did the debut of the trailer for the new Star Wars movie The Last Jedi, which debuted on April 14, have helped the cartoon series take the top spot?  In April, Star Wars: The Clone Wars drove a 13% share versus an 11% share in March.
